The Bounty of Spring

Thursday, December 29th, 2005

Spring comes every year, but not everyone else takes the time to stop and smell the flowers. Some are too busy thinking about the future. Some are thinking about the mistakes they’ve made. Others are too preoccuppied with not getting caught and thinking of ways to catch someone else.

Still, there will always be a few who will pause for a moment and give thanks for the blessings the spring has given them. Just as there are others who are lurking in the dark…bruting in for something that they’ve lost…

Farewell to Forever

Thursday, December 29th, 2005

Nothing is forever…and the time will come when we all must say goodbye to the world we once knew. Goodbye to everything that we have taken for granted. Goodbye those we thought would never abandon us..and when these changes finally do occur, when the familiar has departed and the unfamiliar has taken it’s place, the only thing all of us could do is to say hello…and welcome!

Matrimony

Thursday, December 29th, 2005

The vow is quite simple, really:

"For better or for worse; in sickness and in health; to honor and to cherish; forsaking all others…until death do us part."

Yes, the vow is simple. Finding someone worthy of the promise is the hard part. But if we can, that’s when we actually begin to live a happy life.

Ahh..yes, fantasies!

Sometimes, the best way to fight reality is to add a little fantasy. Of course, all the fantasies the world would do you no good if no one shows up to enjoy it.

^Life and Loneliness^

Thursday, December 29th, 2005

Yes, life is indeed a journey to be travelled. A journey that is much better to be taken with a companion. That companion could be just about anyone —

  • a neighbor on the other side of the street
  • the man on the other side of the bed
  • a mother with good intentions
  • or a child that is up to no good

…still, despite our best intentions, some of us will lose our companions on the way, and the journey becomes unbearable. You see, human beings are designed for many things, but loneliness isn’t one of those…

It’s one complicated world and you’ve entered its most complicated domain — LOVE

Thursday, December 29th, 2005

We all want to find love. We search for it in many places — or in many people. Sometimes, we tend to find it in all the wrong corners and in all the wrong faces. Some are lucky for having found love. But some of us, afyer finding it….wish we haven’t..

Be your own hero! (DH)

Thursday, December 29th, 2005

"We all honor heroes for many reasons. Sometimes for their daring; sometimes for their bravery; sometimes for their goodness. But mostly, we honor heroes because at one point or another we all dream of being rescued. Of course, if the right hero doesn’t come along, sometimes we just have to rescue ourselves…"

Whew! My, my! I haven’t actually used the net in aaaaages!!! I’ll fill you in on the details. You see, I "accidentally" broke our computer, thus obstructing us from entering the cyber realm (duh?!)…but now, everything’s cool (well, maybe not everything)…

Our PC was fixed by a neighbor. His name’s Akim. He’s really good! He’s only like 13 or 14 years old. He’s studying at Philippine Science High School (*smirk*..why do I know these stuff?)…well, if it helps, he’s kinda cute (*wink*)..hey, don’t get any ideas! (haha!)…
